Morrison & Foerster congratulates Marcia Ellis, Hong Kong partner and global chair of our private equity group, on being recognized as one of the Top 15 Female Lawyers across Asia by Asian Legal Business (ALB).
Known as a “super-skilled technical lawyer” with “incredible problem-solving skills on all aspects of matters, both legal and commercial,” Marcia is one of the most experienced and sophisticated private equity lawyers active in the Asian market. In the past two years, she has advised clients on deals with a total aggregate value well in excess of US$171 billion.
Marcia has also championed the advancement of women in the legal profession and has been committed to diversity and inclusion initiatives. She plays a very significant role in supporting female and LGBTQ+ lawyers both within the firm and externally through a number of mentorship programs.
