Baker McKenzie won ten awards at the 2020 Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Women in Business Law Awards held virtually on 10 December.
Among other accolades, Baker McKenzie was named "Best Firm for Pro bono work," "Best gender diversity initiative by an international firm" and "Best international firm for talent management".
The Firm also took home the country award for Australia. Meanwhile, member firm Quisumbing Torres (QT) won the national award for the Philippines. This is the fifth consecutive year that QT collected this award.
In addition, five lawyers were recognized as leading practitioners in their respective fields:

Best in Aviation – Grace Li, senior counsel at FenXun Partners, the Chinese law firm that Baker McKenzie partnered with to establish the Baker McKenzie FenXun (FTZ) Joint Operation in the Shanghai FTZ.

Best in Capital Markets: Debt – Indri Pramitaswari Guritno, senior partner at member firm HHP Law Firm in Indonesia.

Best in Financial Services Regulatory – Karen Man, partner and global chair of the Financial Services Regulatory Practice.

Best in Private Clients and Trusts – Dawn Quek, principal and head of the Wealth Management Practice at member firm Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow in Singapore.

Best in Tax – Adeline Wong, partner and Head of Tax, Trade and Wealth Management at member firm Wong & Partners in Malaysia.
The Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards recognizes lawyers who are influential and leading professionals in their chosen field, as well as firms that have shown outstanding achievement in supporting the development of women in the legal profession across different continents.
