On 28 September 2021, the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training issued a new regulation (Prakas No. 264/21) determining the minimum wage of employees in the Garment, Footwear, Travel Goods, and Bag Sectors for the year 2022 which will be implemented on 1 January 2022.
According to that Prakas, the minimum wage for employees in those sectors in 2022 shall be:

As before, employees who are remunerated on a quantity-based system shall be remunerated based on the quantity produced. However, where the quantity-based remuneration is lower than the minimum wage for 2022, the employer shall pay the minimum wage as determined by the Prakas.
