Cambodia – Pilot Launch Of Labour Inspection Self-Declaration.

On 28 September 2021, the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (“MLVT”) issued Notification (No. 042/21) announcing the pilot launch of its online platform for labour inspection in textiles, garment, footwear, and travel goods enterprises. The pilot launch aims to ease the burden of such enterprises in the labour inspection process during the COVID-19 pandemic through digitalising the inspection process.
 

• The pilot launch will be implemented from 1 October to 30 November 2021 through the website: https://sicms.mlvt.gov.kh/. Enterprises in those sectors will need to participate in the labour inspection process through MLVT’s online platform.
   

• Employers in the sectors above will be subject to fines if they fail to participate in the online self-declaration system for labour inspection. Employers or directors may seek further information in the Telegram Group “For Employer” via https://t.me/EmployerChat.
