Davis Polk advised the initial purchasers of the Regulation S offering of high-yield notes by China Evergrande Group of $1.25 billion 9.5% senior notes due 2022, $450 million 10.0% senior notes due 2023 and $300 million 10.5% senior notes due 2024.
China Evergrande Group, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, is one of the largest developers of residential property projects in different cities across China. Founded in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in 1996, it has become a leading national property developer in China through its economies of scale and widely recognized brand name.
