Christine Kang, partner of JunHe LLP, has been recently appointed as Arbitrator of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.

The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center is a neutral, international and non-profit dispute resolution provider that offers time- and cost-efficient alternative dispute resolution (ADR) options. WIPO mediation, arbitration, expedited arbitration, and expert determination enable private parties to efficiently settle their domestic or cross-border IP and technology disputes out of court. The WIPO Center is also the global leader in the provision of domain name dispute resolution services under the WIPO-designed UDRP.
Ms. Christine KANG, a partner of JunHe LLP, sits on the Panel of Legal Experts for the Prevention of Overseas Legal Risk for the Chinese State-Owner Enterprises (“SOEs”) of the Bureau of Policies and Regulations of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (“SASAC”). Christine has significant experience in resolving cross-border commercial disputes, and has advised many Chinese and foreign companies on their international arbitration cases with major international arbitration institutions. She is a listed arbitrator on the panels of major international arbitration institutions, including CIETAC, AAA-ICDR, ICC and HKIAC. She has extensive experience in advising Chinese companies and multinationals on corporate compliance matters and anti-bribery investigations. In particular, she has successful experience in representing Chinese SOEs in their settlement negotiations with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), such as the World Bank and the African Development Bank, the investigation cooperation with the MDBs and the establishment of corporate compliance system in line with the international standard. Her continuously outstanding performance in legal service has won her not only an impeccable reputation among clients, but also wide recognition from the professional media. Recently, Ms. Kang was awarded by Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration – Future Leader 2017 as the “leading arbitration specialist” and by Who’s Who Legal – Asset Recovery 2016 as a “world leading asset recovery lawyer”. Her appointment as an arbitrator on the List of Arbitrators of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has once again demonstrated her excellent strength in the area of dispute resolution.
