The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021 rankings were recently released and Deacons is delighted to announce that we have once again achieved excellent results across different practice areas in the recent launch.
Overall we ranked in 19 practice areas in both Hong Kong and China chapters. We are delighted to announce that four of the 19 practice areas have moved up a tier, including Capital Markets: Debt, Labour and Employment, Technology, Media and Telecom and Tax and Trust. Our top tier practices Intellectual Property and Investment Funds have also maintained as tier 1 in the guide.
On the individual side, four partners were listed in the “Hall of Fame” group, five lawyers were listed in the elite “Leading lawyers group”, six lawyers were named as “Next Generation Partners”– an increase of three more lawyers in comparison to last year, and three associates were also listed in the “Rising Star” category. In total, 39 lawyers were recommended in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021 guide.
The Legal 500 is a leading independent publication which ranks the region’s best firms and lawyers, based on extensive research compiled from interviews, peer reviews and client feedback.
