On 17 February 2026, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) launched co-ordinated consultations on revising the UK securitisation framework.
As a package, the proposals are likely to be welcomed by securitisation practitioners in the UK on both the sell-side (originators) and the buy-side (investors).
