FitzGerald Lawyers (FitzGerald) and Arun Nigam Associates (Nigam) are proud to announce the establishment of a close, strategic alliance. FitzGerald is an independent international law firm headquartered in Hong Kong with associated offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Sydney. Hong Kong based Nigam specialises in banking & finance, corporate and commerical law and dispute resolution – particularly between India, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.
Together FitzGerald and Nigam will operate as one regional team with an extensive network throughout Asia Pacific, with particular focus on Australia, China and India.
Founding partner of Nigam Arun Nigam – who is also a notary public in Hong Kong – will be joining FitzGerald as a consultant. He brings over 30 years of market-leading legal expertise to the team. Nigam litigation partner Mark Pierrepont will also be joining as a consultant to bolster the firm’s already robust dispute resolution practice.
FitzGerald managing partner Darren FitzGerald noted, “We have known and worked with Arun and Mark for a number of years and are very pleased that we are taking our relationship a step further. Arun and Mark joining will allow us to expand and deepen our client service offerings, particularly through Arun’s banking and finance expertise and Mark’s litigation experience.”

FitzGerald also maintains an association with prominent PRC law firm Watson & Band, and together operate a platform of over 200 fee earners throughout Asia Pacific.
