Hong Kong – Bowers.law Supports International Women’s Day 2021.

In Support of International Women’s Day, the bowers.law team remind everyone (especially Hong Kong lawyers) of its July 2020 Room 228 Newsletter  (bowers.law advises Snoopy on how to write a letter! The bowers.law team has decided as a group that we will no longer be using anachronistic (Charles Dickens) salutations such as “Dear Sirs”, “Messrs” or “Dear Sir/ Madam” as the default setting in any letters / emails etc) in an attempt to eliminate the use of these horribly anachronistic sexist salutations…. even though (disappointingly) about 95% of all formal emails / letters which we received as a team from other lawyers are still addressed to “Dear Sirs”!
