Stephen Harwood have appointed Richard Wilmot as a Litigation partner in the Hong Kong office. Richard joins from the Hong Kong office of Watson, Farley & Williams, where he led the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice.
Richard advises and represents banks, buyers, trading and shipping companies on commodities, contractual and regulatory matters. He has particular expertise in contracts for the supply, transportation, sale and purchase, and storage of petroleum products, coal, LNG and LPG as well as in general commodities and, more recently, the trading of carbon credits. He represents clients in dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration, as well as expert determination and mediation.
