On January 1, 2019, the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) issued “Press Note No. 1 of 2019 Series” in relation to the list of defence items requiring industrial license under Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 and list of items requiring manufacturing and/or proof testing of arms and ammunitions under Arms Act 1959.
This press note supersedes the contents of press note 3 (2014 Series) dated June 26, 2014.
