Mint conducted a Q&A with Aradhana discussing the special power of attorney (SPoA) executed by a person in favour of a trustworthy person who is eligible to enter into a contract as per the India Contract Act, 1872.
The Q&A also emphasised on the importance of clarifying the scope of powers of an attorney who may have only the authority on behalf of a person to negotiate with prospective purchasers for the purposes of sale of the property.
