Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 50/Permentan/KB.020/9/2015, dated September 23, 2015, regarding the Production, Certification, Distribution and Supervision of Plantation Seeds. As the title suggests, this Regulation covers the production, certification and labeling, distribution, and supervision and monitoring of plant seeds. It states that a seed production business permit is required to engage in such business. This Regulation also lays down the required steps to apply for such business permit. Produced seeds must be certified and labeled before being distributed. The Regulation came into effect on the date of its enactment.
Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 52/Permentan/TP.410/10/2015, dated October 26, 2015, regarding the Amendment of Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 51/Permentan/HK.310/4/2014 regarding Import and Export Recommendation for Certain Kinds of Rice. This amendment primarily concerns the change from the Directorate General of Agriculture Products Processing and Marketing to the Directorate General of Food Crops as the authority in charge of issuing the recommendation for the import and export of certain types of rice. This Regulation came into effect on the date of its enactment.
Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 53/Permentan/KB.110/10/2015, dated October 26, 2015, regarding Guidelines on Good Agricultural Practices for Sugarcane. The Attachment of the Regulation contains guidelines on good agricultural practices for sugarcane, which are intended as a reference for the development and planting of sugarcane. The Regulation came into effect on the date of its enactment.
