Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“MEMR”) Regulation No. 5 of 2016, dated February 5, 2016, regarding the Procedures and Requirements for the Granting of Recommendation for the Implementation of Overseas Trading for Processed and Re ned Minerals. Under this Regulation, holders of a Production Operation Mining Business License (“IUP Operasi Produksi”), Production Operation Special Mining Business License (“IUPK Operasi Produksi”), Special Production Mining Business License for processing and/or re nement (“IUP Produksi Khusus”), Production Operation Mining Business License for transportation and trade, or a Working Contract shall obtain a recommendation from the MEMR before obtaining export approval. This Regulation sets out the administrative requirements and procedures to obtain the recommendation. It revokes MEMR Regulation No. 11 of 2014 and Directorate General of Mineral and Coal Regulation No. 861K/30/DJB/2014. This Regulation came into effect on the date of its promulgation.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 4618 K/80/MEM/2015, dated November 24, 2015, regarding the Stipulation of Production Areas and the Calculation of Oil and Natural Gas Natural Resources Pro t Sharing for the Year 2016. This Decree sets out oil and natural gas production areas and the estimated amount of oil and gas to be generated from such areas in 2016. For oil-producing areas, there are seven provinces, 58 regencies and six municipalities. For natural gas-producing areas, there are six provinces, 39 regencies and six municipalities. This Decree came into effect on the date of its stipulation.
