Government Regulation No. 104 of 2015, dated December 28, 2015, regarding the Procedures for the Amendment of Forest Area Designation and Function. This Regulation sets out the procedures to amend the designation and function of forest areas. Amendment of the designation of a forest area may be done either partially or as a whole on the provincial level. Such amendment of designation shall be done either by an exchange of forest areas or the relinquishment of forest area. Amendment of the function of a forest area may also be done either partially or as a whole on the provincial level. Conservation Forests, Protected Forests and Producing Forests can have their functions amended. The proposal to amend such function shall come from the relevant governor (for Protected Forest and Production Forest) or the management of the Conservation Forest area, to be submitted to and stipulated by the Minister of Environment and Forestry. This Regulation revokes Government Regulation No. 10 of 2010 regarding the Procedures for the Amendment of Forest Area Designation and Function, as lastly amended by Government Regulation No. 60 of 2012. It came into effect on the date of its promulgation.
