Presidential Regulation No. 105 of 2015, dated September 30, 2015, regarding Foreign Yachts Visiting Indonesia. The stated aim of this Regulation is to increase visits by foreign-flagged yachts by easing the processing of documents needed to enter Indonesian waters. Foreign yacht owners will receive certain assistance regarding customs, immigration, quarantine and port matters at their ports of entry and exit. Article 3 of this Regulation lists the ports where this facility is offered. The central and regional governments may also grant support to foreign yachts, including the development of marinas or special ports for foreign yachts, the installation of shipping navigation tools, and the development of repair and maintenance facilities. This Regulation revokes Presidential Regulation No. 79 of 2011 as amended regarding the same, and came into effect on the date of its enactment.
Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 157 of 2015, dated October 21, 2015,
regarding the Implementation of Inaportnet for Ship and Cargo Services at Ports. This Regulation provides the legal basis for the implementation of Indonesia Port Net (“Inaportnet”), an electronic portal for the exchange of information on ship and cargo services at Indonesian ports. It can be accessed at http://inaportnet.ditlala.dephub. go.id/. The first six major ports for which Inaportnet is applied are Belawan Port, Tanjung Priok Port, Tanjung Perak Port, Makassar Port, Tanjung Emas Port and Bitung Port. This Regulation comes into effect three months as of October 21, 2015.
Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 160 of 2015, dated October 23, 2015,
regarding the Rejuvenation of Commercial Air Transportation Armadas. This Regulation amends the requirement regarding the maximum age of airplanes operating in Indonesia. The maximum age of airplanes registered and operated in Indonesia for the first time is 10 years for passenger planes and 15 years for cargo planes. The age of passenger and cargo planes already operating in Indonesia shall not exceed 30 years. Airplanes older than these prescribed maximum ages cannot operate in Indonesian territory. Pursuant to this Regulation, commercial air transportation businesses shall conform to the prescribed maximum age of airplanes at the latest 36 months from the enactment of this Regulation, otherwise they will be subject to the sanctions imposed under this Regulation. This Regulation came into effect on the date of its enactment.
