Mental Health in the Asia-Pacific Workplace: What Employers Need to Know
Mental health in the workplace raises important legal and practical questions for employers – from leave entitlements and workplace accommodations to when an employer can require an employee to take time off or seek medical attention, and the circumstances in which termination may be permitted.
SSEK Law Firm, the Indonesian member firm of the Employment Law Alliance (ELA), contributed the Indonesia chapter to Mind at Work: Mental Health in the Asia-Pacific Workplace, a new publication bringing together insights from ELA member firms across the Asia Pacific. SSEK’s contribution was prepared by Syahdan Z Aziz and Mahareksha Singh Dillon, SSEK’s representatives to the ELA.
The ELA is a leading global network of employment law firms and lawyers, providing clients with access to experienced employment counsel across jurisdictions around the world. This publication brings together the collective insights of ELA member firms on key legal considerations relating to mental health in the workplace across the Asia-Pacific region.
