"Maximising your strategic advantage, protecting your assets or handling a crisis – we're always in your corner."
This year, Bird & Bird has launched a new campaign for our contentious offering known as "In Your Corner" across its offices globally, including the Singapore office. A rebranding of our earlier First for Disputes ("FFD") Conference (please click here for a recap of the FFD Conference 2018) to the new "In Your Corner" Conference likewise aims to assist our existing and prospective clients on business critical matters through annual legal workshops. Participants will benefit from these workshops organised by our experienced practitioners, who will deliver commercially sound legal insights based on an understanding of the key drivers affecting clients' businesses in today's tough business climate.
"…Clients appreciate our ability to take a commercial approach as we guide them through the challenges they face. Whether it’s in the courtroom, during negotiations or even at the outset of a contract, time and time again I see our lawyers fighting their clients’ corners to get the best outcomes for their businesses. I am pleased this campaign will help promote that approach to our global client base and the wider market." (Mr. Peter Knight, global head of Dispute Resolution Group)
The "In Your Corner" Conference 2019 organised by the Dispute Resolution Group of Bird & Bird ATMD LLP in Singapore will take place on 24 October 2019 this year at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. The workshops will be provided in the form of plenary and breakout sessions throughout the day. Participants will be gathered for three plenary sessions, each comprising presentations by our experienced practitioners on the latest "hot topics" in local and global dispute resolution. In between each plenary session, two breakout sessions will be organised in the form of intimate small group discussions with enhanced speaker-audience interaction. Participants will have two different topics to choose from for each breakout session depending on their preferred area of law.
The details of the conference will be circulated to interested participants in due course. Please contact the Singapore events team sgpmkt@twobirds.com if you would like to register your interest for the event, or if you have any enquiries.
