Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom announced today that Hong Kong banking and finance lawyer John Hartley has joined the firm’s Hong Kong office as Of Counsel in its corporate practice, with specific responsibility for the firm's banking and finance practice in Asia.
Mr. Hartley advises borrowers, lenders and alternative capital providers on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of numerous groundbreaking deals in Asia. His experience covers virtually all aspects of debt financing, including LBO financing, as well as restructurings.

Mr. Hartley previously practiced in the Hong Kong office of another highly regarded global law firm where he was a Senior Of Counsel in its global finance practice, and prior to that, was a partner in the Hong Kong offices of two other highly regarded global law firms. Mr. Hartley is admitted in Hong Kong and England and Wales.
