We are pleased to launch our new report Korea Offshore Wind: Looking Ahead.
The South Korean Government announced its plan to increase the share of renewable energy from 7.0% in 2016 to 20% by the year 2030.
Large-scale solar projects are a possible solution but are constrained by land, environmental and permit issues. An increasing focus has therefore been put on offshore wind power.
This report is aimed at providing a high level overview of the opportunities and challenges in developing an offshore wind project in Korea.
