Brian Law, Managing Partner of LAW Partnership, announced today that LAW Partnership Malaysia’s intellectual property (IP) practice has expanded into a patent practice in full bloom with Pharvishaa Divya joining the firm as Senior Patent Executive. Pharvishaa will lead the firm’s patent practice, forming part of the firm’s IP prosecution and strategy teams in both the Kuala Lumpur and the new Singapore offices. Pharvishaa Divya is a Registered Patent, Trademark, and Industrial Design Agent in Malaysia, and an IP Consultant in LAWP Consultancy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
Joining LAW Partnership from Marks & Clerk, Pharvishaa specialises in patent drafting and prosecution, and is particularly well-versed with life sciences and mechanical applications. She is experienced in providing advice and serving as a technical consultant on patentability, conducting patentability searches, drafting, prosecution of patent applications, and managing patent portfolios and transactional matters both locally and internationally.
Pharvishaa’s move to LAW Partnership is an important step in making the firm’s IP practice whole. Her patent capabilities add significantly to the firm’s already formidable IP practice consisting of litigation, commercial, enforcement and prosecution.
LAWP Consultancy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is an IP agency founded recently as an expansion to LAW Partnership Kuala Lumpur’s IP practice to service its clients in Singapore, in response to clients’ demand both locally and internationally.
Brian Law, Managing Partner, LAW Partnership said:
‘I am pleased to welcome Pharvishaa as our new patent lead.
Her arrival to lead our patent practice elevates LAW Partnership’s position as a firm with a robust IP practice. What Pharvishaa brings to the table was the single missing piece in making the firm’s IP practice complete.
We are also pleased to share that we have embarked on an expansion journey to service the Singapore market in response to all the opportunities that have arisen in recent times, notwithstanding the global pandemic and its consequences.’
