A cross-office team of Morrison & Foerster attorneys acted as Intudo Ventures’ international counsel on its latest round of fundraising for its third fund. Intudo Ventures III, LP was oversubscribed and the financing was raised within three months. Valued at US$115 million, the fund is set to invest in startups and early-stage businesses within Indonesia, across a number of different sectors.
Founded in 2017, and based in Jakarta and Silicon Valley, Intudo Ventures is a venture capital firm with an “Indonesia only” portfolio approach, capitalizing on the rapid growth of Indonesian homegrown startups.
The MoFo team advising Intudo Ventures was led by Singapore fund formation partner Jason Nelms, Hong Kong fund formation associate Marcus To, and Hong Kong trainee Kenneth Lee. They were supported by Hong Kong tax partner Matthew Lau, Hong Kong tax associate Andrew Chin, San Francisco tax associate Adam E. Nguyen, and U.S. regulatory counsel Kelley A. Howes.
