Introduction
Across the globe, governments are taking steps to gradually reduce lockdown measures and re-open their economies, while keeping a close eye on the spread of the virus. A careful balance needs to be struck between protecting lives and breathing life back into the economy. Mandatory community quarantine, curfews, shelter-in-place orders, border closures, enforced home-working and travel bans have all become the "new normal."
As new measures are enacted across a world still battling a pandemic, companies will need to prepare for a gradual transition back into the workplace amid a changed landscape. Our teams across the globe are guiding employers through the maze of legal, practical and operational considerations, and emerging government regulation related to reopening the workforce.
