Tilleke & Gibbins is very proud to have been named the Asia Regional Firm of the Year and Vietnam Firm of the Year at the Managing IP Global Awards 2015 ceremony in London on March 11. The winners of the awards were selected by researchers and editors from Managing Intellectual Property magazine, a renowned IP-focused publication, based on client feedback and extensive market research.
The Asia Regional Firm of the Year award recognizes Tilleke & Gibbins as being the top intellectual property practice in all of Asia. All domestic and international IP firms across Asia were considered for this award, making this a truly distinguished achievement.
In Vietnam, this marks the second consecutive year—and the third time in four years—that the firm has been named IP Firm of the Year.
When we opened our new offices in Indonesia, Laos, and Myanmar in late 2013, it was with the aim of increasing our capabilities and client services beyond our core jurisdictions of Thailand and Vietnam.
This award is evidence of our strong regional presence, as well as the growing importance of ASEAN for many IP owners. In the months ahead, we will continue to build on our presence in these emerging markets. And in an exciting new development, we will be opening our seventh office in Asia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in May 2015.
