Skadden advised Toshiba Corporation, which announced on January 18, 2018, that it has selected Nucleus Acquisition LLC (a consortium controlled by The Baupost Group, LLC) as the buyer of Toshiba's claims against Westinghouse Electric Company LLC for US$2.16 billion (approx. 244.1 billion yen), and Brookfield WEC Holdings LLC as the buyer of the Westinghouse-related shares that it holds.
