Tyson Wienker is the Managing Director of LexisNexis Greater China. He is responsible for leading all areas of the business and developing strategies to expand the adoption of online and digital information-based services and solutions, including practical guidance, litigation, practice management and core research solutions that further the company’s strong growth in the region. Supporting and fostering innovation is high on Tyson’s agenda as the Innovation Leader for the business.
Tyson has been with LexisNexis for more than 9 years, working in the Sydney, New York, London and Hong Kong offices. Most recently, Tyson served as Executive Director, Strategy & Product Development of LexisNexis Asia Pacific based in Sydney, where he was responsible for forward looking strategy and business development for the LexisNexis Asia Pacific business. With a five year outlook, Tyson drove the creation and management review of large scale business development projects that impact the company’s direction.
Prior to joining LexisNexis, Tyson worked with the Australian Defence Industry in business development and project management. He was responsible for the delivery of a number multi-million dollar import deals for the Australian Defence Force and worked on associated regional strategy.
Subsequently, he worked for a year in the Pacific LexisNexis business as the Pacific Strategy Development Manager before joining the LexisNexis Executive Development Rotational Program. After working for a year out of New York on the Program, he transitioned to London for a year, then Sydney for three years before relocating to Hong Kong in late 2014.
Tyson has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems and Management from the University of New South Wales and a Diploma of Leadership and Management.
