An overview of OFSI’s recent enforcement activity and what businesses can learn from it
The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation has escalated its sanctions enforcement action in recent months, penalising six UK businesses for a variety of sanctions failings. Helpfully, OFSI has taken the opportunity these cases have presented to offer further guidance to businesses on how not to breach sanctions, supplementing the formal guidance it already publishes.
