As part of its drive to address the challenges in the housing sector, the Government has taken another step closer to reinvigorating commonhold tenure as a potential replacement for the much-criticised leasehold tenure. A White Paper has been published by the Government this month, detailing its plans for a “comprehensive new legal framework” for this little used form of tenure.
