Changes to the Takeover Code will take effect from 13 June 2022. These include amendments to the tests for chain principle bids and the requirement for a possible offer announcement to include a possible bidder’s floor price.
All the changes proposed by the Takeover Panel in its consultation have been adopted with some minor modifications.
