Indochine Counsel is proud to announce the promotion of two senior associates to partner in this holiday season. The two new partners, Pham Thi Thanh Lan and Le Van Duong, have proven their worth and efforts through years of faithful work at Indochine Counsel.
Pham Thi Thanh Lan has a long record of career exceptionalism. She obtained a BA in foreign trade economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University in 2004 and an LLB from Ho Chi Minh City Law University in 2012. She has nearly sixteen years of legal and consulting experience with specialties in foreign investment, corporate & commercial transactions. She has assisted numerous foreign investors in setting up companies and factories in Vietnam, from identification of potential partners, land acquisitions, warehouse/office leasing, and preparation of feasibility studies and legal documentation for licenses, and attending to licensing matters with the authorities. In addition, Lan is active in commercial property transactions, advising clients in land acquisitions, joint ventures, and operational issues as well. Lan joined Indochine Counsel in early 2007, she worked for several years as an investment consultant for a leading legal and consulting firm.
Mr. Le Van Duong has worked as the senior associate in charge of the Hanoi office of Indochine Counsel for the last several years. Duong has over 10 years of experience working with clients on matters involving investment, real estate, energy and natural resources, corporate & commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions for both domestic and international corporations.
Prior to joining Indochine Counsel, Duong worked as an associate for two local law firms, LDV Lawyers and YKVN, and as a senior associate for a Korean law firm, Jipyong Law Vietnam LLC. He has also practiced as an in-house counsel for Knight Frank Vietnam, Masan Group and Vingroup.
