Wong & Partners, the Malaysia member firm of Baker McKenzie International, advised Navis Capital Partners (“Navis”) in connection with the disposal of its 50.1% stake in HG Power Transmission Sdn. Bhd. ("HGPT") held through Navis Malaysian Growth Opportunities Fund I, L.P. to Rohas Tecnic Berhad ("RTB").
Navis’ disposal of its 50.1% stake in HGPT from PT Safe Tower Systems Holdings Sdn Bhd, an investment holding company set up by Navis, was coupled together with the disposal by the other shareholder of HGPT of its 24.9% stake to RTB, for a total purchase consideration of MYR 92 million. HGPT is a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities and turnkey solutions for high voltage transmission lines and substations.
