ZICO Law's Singapore office, ZICO Insights Law, expands its legal services offering with the addition of disputes specialist Cheryl Ng as head of the firm’s new dispute resolution team. For cases requiring more specialised expertise, ZICO Insights Law has teamed up with Tham Lijing from Essex Court Chambers Duxton (Singapore Group Practice) to act as the firm’s external counsel in litigation and arbitration.
Cheryl was most recently managing her own practice at Intelleigen Legal. She was formerly a litigation lawyer at Amarick Gill LLC and MG Chambers LLC before becoming a Criminal Legal Aid Scheme Fellow at the Law Society of Singapore. Cheryl has broad expertise in civil and commercial disputes, and has represented clients in multi-million dollar Singapore International Arbitration Centre ("SIAC") arbitrations and cross-border disputes in Asia and Europe. Cheryl is experienced in dealing with white collar criminal matters, and also advises on employment issues and intellectual property disputes. As an advocate, Cheryl has appeared in the Court of Appeal and High Court, as well as in institutional arbitrations.
Lijing is a member of Essex Court Chambers Duxton (Singapore Group Practice) and has worked with ZICO Insights Law on many matters over the years. He is called upon in the more complex matters, when the client requires specialist advocacy or legal expertise. He is a rising star of the Bar and has acted in some of the largest commercial disputes in recent years.
