DivinaLaw Partner Atty. Jacqueline O. Lopez-Kaw was recently invited by the Philippine Embassy in Seoul to discuss Philippine anti-sexual harassment laws that help shape workplaces rooted in respect, accountability, and dignity.

Atty. Lopez-Kaw shared how local sexual harassment laws such as the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 (Republic Act 7877), and Safe Spaces Act (Republic Act 11313) are relevant in protecting individuals and guiding workplace behavior.
She was formally received by H.E. Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez, Ambassador of the Philippines to the Republic of Korea, and Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General, Mr. Edwin Gil Q. Mendoza.

The event was attended by embassy officials, officers, and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, as well as the heads and personnel of attached agencies, including Migrant Workers Office (DMW), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA-DMW), Philippine Agriculture Office (DA), Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT), Philippine Trade and Investment Center (DTI) and Foreign Liaison Office.
Atty. Lopez-Kaw is the current Dean of the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School of Law. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional by the International Federation of Professional Managers (United Kingdom) and also holds a Certification in Human Capital Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
