International law firm Bird & Bird has advised a global aerospace company on the lease of premises in Soho, London, from landlord The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited. The transaction marks their first leased office space in the UK.
The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited is the UK’s largest mutual life insurance, pensions, and investment company. It provides protection, long-term savings, retirement products, and asset management services to its members. As a customer-owned mutual, Royal London also invests in commercial property and, in its capacity as a landlord, leases premises as part of its asset management strategy to generate sustainable income and returns for its members and policyholders.
