Linklaters has advised Resolution Life, a global life insurance group focusing on reinsurance and the acquisition and management of portfolios of life insurance policies, on two significant reinsurance transactions covering policies in Hong Kong SAR and Japan. These transactions mark another milestone in Resolution Life’s expanding presence across Asia and continued commitment to delivering tailored reinsurance solutions to life insurance companies across the region.
These transactions demonstrate Linklaters’ depth of expertise in the insurance sector, drawing on a cross-disciplinary team across a range of market-leading practice areas. Linklaters’ previous work in Asia includes advising Resolution Life on its acquisition by Nippon Life and on Resolution Life’s landmark first reinsurance transaction in Hong Kong SAR and various block and flow reinsurance transactions in Japan.
