Linklaters has advised the manager and the trustee on China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited’s issuance of US$300m zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2031. The transaction marks China Nonferrous Mining’s first offshore convertible bond issuance and its largest equity financing since listing.
China Nonferrous Mining is a leading international copper producer listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. With more than two decades of operating experience, the company has established an integrated copper and cobalt value chain spanning mining, ore processing, leaching, smelting and sales.
The Linklaters team was led by capital markets partners Hanwen Yu and Taiki Ki, with support from Xie Xie, Youming Wu and Jerry Wang. A separate Linklaters team led by counsel Beibei Ding acted as the trustee counsel, with support from Arnold Tang.
