Nick is a partner in Beaton Capital where he advises on strategies for growth and market entry and provides corporate advice to strengthen clients’ competitive positions. A law firm partner at the age of 27, Nick spent a decade in the UK driving M&A and private equity transactions for clients.
He then moved in to law firm management and was appointed managing partner of the Birmingham office of DLA Piper. He was subsequently elected to the international board and later managed the firm’s Asian operations, growing revenue by more than 300% in four years. Later he was Asia head for Eversheds and established offices for the firm in Hong Kong and Singapore.
He is also a director of top legal search firm, Olivier Cheah & Partners.
