Kirkland & Ellis is advising the Special Committee of NASDAQ-listed eLong, Inc., a leading mobile and online travel service provider in China, in connection with its acquisition by a consortium that includes affiliates of Tencent Holdings Limited, Ctrip.com and certain other existing shareholders of eLong. The Merger Agreement was announced on February 4, 2016.
The Kirkland team is led by Hong Kong corporate partners David Zhang, Jesse Sheley and Amie Tang.
