With the aim of increasing the ease of doing business in Thailand, the Ministry of Commerce (the "MOC") and the Social Security Office (the "SSO") have together launched a single-service platform by combining the processes of company incorporation with the social security registration.
As a result, a limited company that registers its incorporation with the MOC from 16 October 2019 onwards, will be automatically registered as an employer with the SSO without having to submit a separate application.
Note that other requirements under labour law still apply.
