Skadden represented freee K.K. in its JPY 35 billion (approximately US$ 322 million) initial public offering on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. freee K.K. is a leading Japanese SaaS provider of cloud-based accounting, payroll and other software solutions. Trading commenced on 17 December 2019.
The team was led by partner Kenji Taneda and included counsel Ken Kiyota and associates Akira Tago and Kyle Huh. All of the attorneys are based in Tokyo.
