In our previous article, we reported on the Court Proceedings (Electronic Technology) Bill, the objective of which is to enable the use of electronic technology (e-technology) in proceedings in courts (and specified tribunals) and for court-related services, as an alternative to traditional paper-based methods.
The Bill was passed on 17 July 2020 and will come into force on a date to later be announced.
