Skadden advised Merrill Lynch International and Mizuho International plc as the international managers on PLAID Inc.'s listing and initial public offering of 14,339,000 shares of common stock on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The offer price per share was JPY 1,600 (approximately US$ 15.50), for a total offer value of JPY 22.9 billion (approximately US$ 222.3 million), exclusive of the underwriters' over-allotment option. PLAID Inc. is a leading provider of customer experience Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) in Japan. Trading commenced on 17 December 2020.
