Every child has creative potential although at different levels. This child’s creativity will continue to develop and is influenced by several factors, one of which is environmental factors. So it is necessary to have a means of developing creativity that is conducive so that children can produce an intellectual work.
Speaking of intellectual works, that is Austin Kingsley Russell who was born in California, America on March 13, 1995, who successfully owned a patent at the age of 13. The patent was registered for the invention of a groundwater recycling system that can collect water from sprinklers, making it more efficient. At the age of 26 years, he was named the youngest richest person thanks to his own efforts by Forbes. Forbes also explained that Austin Russell’s intelligence was seen from an early age, because he was able to memorize the periodic table of the chemical elements from the age of two.
At the age of 17 Austin Russell founded the company Luminar Technology, a start-up that deals with unmanned (autonomous) car devices. His interest in lasers and optics from an early age led him to create Lidar technology, a laser scanner that gives self-driving cars a three-dimensional view of their surroundings. Luminar’s Lidar technology has also been used by a number of global autonomous car manufacturers such as Volvo, Daimler Truck and Intel’s autonomous car unit, Mobileye. And currently, Luminar’s market capitalization value has reached US$7.15 billion, of which a third of the shares are owned by Russell.
