Ms. Shi provides legal services for the capital market, particularly in the field of bond and equity-linked product issuance. She has led major projects such as the offshore issuance of treasury bonds by the Ministry of Finance of China, the first offshore issuance of local government bonds by a Chinese local government and the first issuance of local government bonds in Macau. Ms. Shi has provided special legal service for the offshore bonds, regulatory capital instruments and medium-term note programs of many major financial institutions including Chinese policy bank, national commercial banks, joint-equity commercial banks, rural commercial banks and financial leasing companies. She has extensive practical experience across many industries, particularly bond issuance in the infrastructure, energy and emerging industries. Ms. Shi has provided outstanding legal services for the offshore bond issuance projects of many Chinese central and local state-owned enterprises and well-known private companies, winning wide trust and praise from her clients.
Ms. Shi holds a Master of International Law and a Master of Corporate Law and has been admitted to both the PRC and New York bars. She has a broad legal vision and perspective as well as practical flexibility, enabling her to better serve her clients in the field of capital markets.
