Anthony Woo joins as Partner on 1 May 2022
Hauzen LLP is pleased to announce that Anthony Woo was appointed as a Partner of the Firm on 1 May 2022, as part of the Firm’s recently-entered affiliation with DWF LLP, a member of the DWF Group.
Practical and creative, Anthony specialises in finding a solution. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance and marine sector, including 13 years as a partner with leading global insurance practices Kennedys and Clyde & Co, Anthony represents leading global insurers and P&I clubs in complex disputes.

Anthony is regularly retained by leading insurers (global and PRC) to advise on insurance related disputes across all lines of insurance, with a particular focus on marine, property and casualty. He handles a large portfolio of subrogated recovery claims across the world utilising the firm’s network.
An expert in international arbitration including CIETAC, HKIAC and SIAC, Anthony is also experienced in managing disputes resolution and enforcement of judgment and awards in foreign jurisdictions. His specialty also includes handling dry shipping disputes, commercial litigation, personal injury, and regulatory.
Chambers and Partners (2022) stated that “Anthony Woo is a well-established lawyer who offers substantial knowledge in contentious matters in the shipping sector. He is regularly mandated by insurers and ship managers to assist with salvage operations, investigations and disputes arising out of ship casualties, such as fires and explosions. Promotion of Yolanda Kok to Partner on 1 June 2022
Our firm is also excited to announce the promotion of Yolanda Kok to Partner of Hauzen LLP on 1 June 2022.
Yolanda joined Hauzen LLP as a Senior Associate in November 2021, and is a member of our Hong Kong disputes resolution team representing clients in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. Yolanda’s practice focuses on advising companies and their shareholders and directors on complex commercial disputes in the Asia Pacific region. She is well versed in legal issues and procedures concerning commercial contracts, fiduciary duties, trusts, injunctions and investigations by law enforcement authorities in Hong Kong.

Representative clients include a State-Owned Enterprise involved in a multi-jurisdictional dispute, one of the largest global telecommunications corporations based in Mainland China for an insurance claim, and a Korean investment fund injuncting, tracing and recovering its dissipated trust monies.
Yolanda also provides non-contentious legal advice to companies and individuals on commercial agreements and employment laws with a view to minimising potential disputes. She is attentive to clients’ needs and practical in terms of offering legal solutions.
