Doug Clark – Love What You Do And Stay Curious

November 12, 2021

November 12, 2021 by

Doug Clark, a widely respected IP litigator and arbitrator in East Asia. He is global head of dispute resolution at Rouse. He is also an author, and a professor of law. He’s admitted to the bar in Hong Kong as a solicitor, but previously practiced as a barrister. He is also a barrister and solicitor in Australian and a solicitor in England and Wales. Having handled the entire gamut of contentious IP cases including raiding factories in China (in the early part of his career) to running complex multi-jurisdictional patent litigation relating to standard essential patents and serving as an arbitrator and mediator in high technology cases, he has reached the top of his profession.

Doug by self-admission has had a charmed life professionally, but to get where he is today, it took knowing what he wanted in his career, understanding where he needed to go, creative vision to see diamond in the rough-type opportunities and the flexibility and mettle to seize them at the right time.
