Ms. Yusi currently heads ACCRALAW’s Corporate and Special Projects Department. She specializes in investment law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, banking and finance, and corporate rehabilitation.  Ms. Yusi also acts as corporate secretary for various local and foreign-owned corporations.

 

Ms. Yusi is also a member of ACCRALAW’s Tax Department where she served as Head for more than ten years. 

 

Ms. Yusi obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Santo Tomas, graduating magna cum laude in 1990. In 1986, she graduated from the same University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, Major in Political Science. Prior to joining ACCRALAW in 1995, Ms. Yusi was a Tax Supervisor of SGV & Co., then a member firm of Arthur Andersen.

 

Ms. Yusi is consistently recognized as one of the best tax lawyers of the Philippines by Asia Legal 500, Chambers Global and Global Tax Directory.   In 2015, the Asia Pacific Legal 500 Editorial recommended Ms. Yusi for the Practice Area of Taxation.   Asialaw Leading Lawyers 2015 also identified Ms. Yusi as one of the most highly acclaimed legal experts in the field of Taxation.
