Bird & Bird has advised UBTech Robotics Corp Limited (“UBTech”), a leading humanoid robots and smart service robots’ company in China, on its initial public offering (“IPO”) and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (“HKSE”), which raised approximately US$130 million. The IPO was the first ever listing of a humanoid robotics company on the HKSE.
UBTech is a global leader in the research, development, and commercialisation of intelligent humanoid robots and smart service robots. Its products include the Alpha series of humanoid robots, the Cruzr series of service robots, and the Jimu series of educational robots. UBTech also provides AI solutions for various industries, such as education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and entertainment.
