JunHe warmly welcomes Mr. Chen Dengne to the company’s Chongqing office. Mr. Chen has experience in complex civil and commercial dispute resolution, compliance and filing for concentration of undertakings, and the disposal of financial institutions’ non-performing assets.
Mr. Chen graduated from Southwest University of Political Science and Law with a Bachelor of Laws in 2014. In 2015, he obtained a Master of Laws at Cleveland State University in the United States. With a deep understanding of local market dynamics, Mr. Chen provides comprehensive legal services to large enterprises in Chongqing and Southwest China. His practice spans industries such as automobile manufacturing, finance and insurance, asset management, real estate development, construction and chemical logistics. Mr. Chen has advised on projects worth billions of RMB, including a merger control filing for a large automobile group, an equity transfer dispute involving a renowned real estate enterprise, and a material contract dispute involving a large construction group. These cases demonstrate his expertise and capabilities in handling large, complex projects.
Mr. Chen excels in traditional legal practice while actively embracing the new legal ecosystem introduced by digitalization. He has undertaken research on technology and emerging areas affecting the legal system and he has written many articles including “Recommendations on Digital Empowerment to Enhance Judicial Quality and Efficiency” and “Recommendations on Digital Empowerment to Build a Benchmark City for Digital Governance”. His paper titled “Research on Alternative Dispute Resolutions from a Judicial Blockchain Perspective ” was recognized as an Outstanding Paper in the 2023 “Chongqing Youth Rule of Law International Forum Essay Competition” sponsored by the Chongqing Law Society. The forum showcased the new generation of legal professionals, their insights into cutting-edge issues and their outstanding research capabilities.
With the opening of JunHe’s Chongqing office, Mr. Chen will leverage his extensive experience and professional expertise to provide high-quality legal services to clients in Chongqing and Southwest China. He will collaborate with his esteemed colleagues to write new chapters for the firm in Chongqing.
